1. About this notice
Select to read
This policy explains personal information in connection with DiRich Community Support, telephone and email contact, and this website. Contact us if you have a privacy question or would like information about the handling of your own records.
2. Who we are
Select to read
DiRich Specialist Community Support Ltd, trading as DiRich Community Support (company number 17196962), is the data controller for client and enquiry data: the company determines why and how that information is processed. Our two authorised team members manage it on the company’s behalf. For privacy questions or requests about your personal information, email info@dirichsupport.com.
DiRich Community Support welcomes enquiries about companionship and non-regulated community support for adults aged 18 and over. All support arrangements are subject to an individual assessment, agreed support plan, appropriate documentation and confirmation by DiRich. Please contact us to discuss your needs and availability. Personal care, physical feeding or eating assistance, medication assistance, nursing and medical treatment are excluded.
DiRich Specialist Community Support Ltd is registered with the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) under registration reference ZC206094.
3. Information in communications and on this website
Select to read
Real telephone and email communications can involve personal information, including your contact details and the information you choose to provide.
When a call to 01283 351888 is not answered, voicemail is enabled. A voicemail message may include the caller’s name, contact details and the enquiry itself. Only DiRich’s two authorised team members can access voicemail messages, and they are used to respond to enquiries. Contact us for information about how long voicemail messages are kept.
There is no website enquiry form, online booking or online payment. Hosting and asset requests can involve technical information, including IP addresses and browser information.
Please provide only what is needed for your enquiry. Do not send medical records, identification documents or financial details unsolicited; contact us first to discuss an appropriate way to provide necessary information.
4. Sources and information about other people
Select to read
You may give us information directly by telephone or email. If you contact us about another adult, explain your relationship and any authority to act for them.
Being a relative or friend does not automatically authorise access to another adult’s information. Safeguarding or emergency disclosures require consideration of the circumstances and applicable law.
5. Purposes and necessary information
Select to read
We use information you provide to respond to enquiries, discuss possible support arrangements and handle complaints, safeguarding concerns and privacy requests.
The information needed depends on your request. Before providing information for an assessment or service, ask us about its intended use and who needs access. This website does not collect assessment, payment or support records through an online form.
6. Lawful bases
Select to read
Personal information must have a lawful basis under UK GDPR Article 6. Giving information or agreeing to support is not automatically data-protection consent.
The applicable basis depends on the purpose and circumstances. Contact us for information about the basis applicable to your records. Where consent is relied on, you can withdraw it without affecting earlier lawful processing.
7. Health and safeguarding information
Select to read
Health and some safeguarding information is special-category data. Its use requires an Article 6 lawful basis and an applicable Article 9 condition, together with any additional UK-law requirements.
A safeguarding concern is not blanket permission to collect or share sensitive information. Criminal-offence information has separate Article 10 and UK-law requirements. Please contact us before supplying sensitive records.
8. Access, recipients and safeguarding disclosures
Select to read
Our team manages info@dirichsupport.com. Other people are not automatically entitled to information about you because they are a relative, friend or representative.
Necessary and lawful safeguarding disclosures may involve an appropriate authority or emergency service. Absolute confidentiality cannot be promised where lawful disclosure is necessary.
DiRich has a Designated Adult Safeguarding Lead and a Deputy Adult Safeguarding Lead. Immediate danger: call 999. Urgent action and direct local-authority or police referrals must never wait for either safeguarding lead, especially if either is unavailable, implicated or conflicted.
9. Providers and international transfers
Select to read
The website uses Lovable hosting and asset services with Cloudflare infrastructure. Business email is provided by IONOS and telephone service by Vonage, including voicemail for unanswered calls. Voicemail does not mean that every call is recorded.
A provider’s involvement does not establish where all processing takes place. Contact us for information about recipients, processing locations and any applicable international-transfer safeguards relevant to your information.
10. Retention and deletion
Select to read
Retention depends on the type of record, its purpose and applicable legal requirements. This policy does not state a fixed retention period.
Contact us to ask about retention periods or criteria applicable to your records, or to request deletion. Rights to deletion depend on the circumstances; some information may need to be retained where lawful and necessary.
11. Security and confidentiality
Select to read
Personal information requires appropriate protection, limited access and lawful use. This policy does not promise absolute confidentiality or guarantee the security of electronic communications.
Please contact us first to discuss an appropriate way to provide necessary sensitive information, rather than sending sensitive records unsolicited.
12. Children's Personal Information
Select to read
DiRich provides services for adults aged 18+ only. It does not provide services to children.
Information about a child may arise incidentally in a safeguarding concern. A child is anyone under 18; necessary lawful safeguarding action does not extend DiRich’s adult-only service eligibility.
13. Your data-protection rights
Select to read
Depending on the processing and applicable law, you may have rights to be informed, access information, correct inaccuracies, request erasure, restrict processing, object and receive portable data. Conditions and exceptions apply; not every right applies to every activity.
Where consent is relied on, you can withdraw it without affecting the lawfulness of earlier processing. You can object to direct marketing at any time if it is undertaken; this does not mean DiRich currently runs a marketing programme.
Use the contact details in section 18 for a privacy question or rights request. Appropriate identity or authority checks may be necessary before information can be released. Applicable statutory requirements, conditions and exceptions remain in force.
14. Automated decisions and required information
Select to read
No automated support decision-making or profiling is implemented in this website. Telephone or email contact does not automatically establish suitability or confirm a booking.
We discuss the information needed for your request or an assessment before agreeing support. An enquiry or quotation alone does not confirm a service.
15. Privacy concerns and ICO complaints
Select to read
You can raise a privacy concern using the contact details in section 18.
You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO), the UK data-protection regulator. You do not have to complete DiRich’s internal procedure before exercising that right. A link to the ICO’s complaint information is provided below.
16. Website storage and external resources
Select to read
Navigation uses session storage, tsr-scroll-restoration-v1_3, to remember page scroll positions. No application local-storage entries or accepted site cookies were observed in the local browser checks.
A Cloudflare __cf_bm cookie header was observed on a lovable.app asset response. Local browser observations do not establish all cookies or processing on a hosted website. See the Cookie Policy for details and browser choices.
Fonts and the logo use site asset-hosting paths rather than a Google Fonts stylesheet. No optional analytics, embedded maps/videos or payment scripts are implemented in the website.
External links lead to separately operated websites. Check their privacy information before sharing personal information.
17. Updates and further information
Select to read
